First-party analytics, with a simple objection control.
IG12 uses first-party statistical analytics to understand whether the site is working: which routes are read, how journeys move between pages, what device and viewport bands are in use, and which shared actions are meaningful enough to improve.
The system measures browsers and sessions. It does not identify unique people, use advertising pixels, follow visitors across other sites, join analytics to subscriber identities, fingerprint devices, use session replay or capture the contents of a session, capture keystrokes or track cursor movement. IG12 does not use IP addresses to identify or recognise visitors.
Temporary browser and session identifiers allow visits from the same browser to be counted over a limited period. The browser identifier expires after no more than 30 days, and session identifiers rotate after inactivity. IG12 may derive non-identifying summary counts from the resulting records. Server-side raw analytics are currently retained while the aggregation and deletion routine is being completed. The longer-term system will retain durable non-identifying aggregates and enforce bounded raw-data retention.
You can object at any time with the control on this page. No login, email address or explanation is required.
